QuickImagePost for MT 3.3

If you are new to this QuickImagePost , a MT's image bookmarklet plugin, please see old entry.

I've finished upgrading of QuickImagePost to MT 3.31 version.

MT 3.3's reinforced plugin localization is used, and previous alternate template(using alt-tmpl folder) is deprecated in this plugin, it uses MT 3.3's new related API.

QuickImagePost.xpi(Mozilla/Firefox extension) is move to static plugin folder. In previous version, I located it in some kind of cgi-bin/ folder, and some users experienced a trouble to download it.

Requirements

MT 3.3

Installation of Plugin

Download this plugin and untar it under (mt home) folder. Then files will be located in sub-folders as below.
  • (mt home)/mt-static/plugins/alogblog/images/alogblog.ico
  • (mt home)/mt-static/plugins/alogblog/QuickImagePost.xpi
  • (mt home)/plugins/alogblog/QuickImagePost.pl
  • (mt home)/plugins/alogblog/lib/alogblog/QuickImagePost/L10N.pm
  • (mt home)/plugins/alogblog/lib/alogblog/QuickImagePost/L10N/ko.pm

* If you used the previois verion QuickImagePost, you MUST delete two files, (mt home)/alt-tmpl/cms/bm_entry.tmpl, bookmarklets.tmpl. And you can delete plugins/alogblog/quickimagepost.xpi file.

Localization

If your mother tongue is not English, then why don't you try to translate it? Please see (mt home)/plugins/alogblog/lib/alogblog/QuickImagePost/L10N/ko.pm file, about 10 lexicons are there. If you have a mind to do it, first check the comments of this entry. No other user's comment to show his/her mind to translate your own language? Then you can do. Of course to prevent other user's vain effort, you can leave your mind to this entry.

Localization file name is (your own language code).pm. It should be save with UTF-8 encoding. My mail is alogblog dot com at gmail dot com. Of course you don't need to send it to me, if you want. You yourself can distribute your own language file. If then, just leave your link. I will embed it in this entry. Any methods will be good. I don't care.
